This event is NOT a typical Focus event – Thus why we’re calling it “Out of Focus.” This night is dedicated to all the music we love that’s NOT House Music. Think 70s-90s Funk, R&B, Soul, New Jack Swing, Hip Hop, etc. It’s the stuff Nonfiction & Josh Billings listen to on road trips and sing out loud in the car. Jose even does the robot voice on “Computer Love.”

If you’re over 25, you’ll probably dig it. If you’re looking for the newest bangers…this isn’t the night for you.

We’re also pretty happy to have our friend Wet Hand Dan come and share some of his favorites with us as well.

Honestly, we’re just doing this night for fun, but isn’t that what it’s all about anyway?

Important announcement regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

We will be closing up our Tuesday night events at the Circle for at least the rest of the month. Josh Billings & Nonfiction will definitely be doing “One last Tuesday” event in the future where the duo plays all night long, but as of right now, we’re going to postpone any further Tuesday events (Including Ardalan 3/17).

Our new Friday home – Commissary Lounge, will be open tomorrow night, but sadly Miguel Migs will not be able to make it. We are going to reschedule for a Friday in May or June. Our March 13th event will be FREE all night w/ Josh Billings & Nonfiction + Anderson M.

Capacity on Friday will be limited to 250 and plenty of soap and paper towels will be available. Remember to wash your hands frequently, don’t touch your face and avoid handshakes and hugs. If you’d prefer a refund for either show, just email us and we’ll take care of it for you. We value your health and safety above everything.
